Frequently Asked Questions

How Much is a tattoo?

The shop minimum is $150 | Hourly is $200/hr: Need something more specific? Tattoos prices are based on elements including size, design detail, placement, inclusion of color or shading, etc. Reaching out with the following information or booking a consultation gives me enough information to help provide you a quote specific to your tattoo!

Comission Tattoo

A commission tattoo is any design that I draw for you that is not flash or pre-designed. Please know I will not copy tattoo designs directly if you have a reference of another tattoo or another artists' flash. This also includes AI generations. We will make edits to make this design to be individual to you. Commission designs drawing process start with a deposit.

Deposit Policy

a $150 non refundable deposit is needed to move forward with booking a tattoo appointment and beginning the drawing process. (It is still required when booking an appointment for flash) This protects both your time and mine! Valid deposits will be used towards your tattoo the day of your appointment, (last appointment for projects that take multiple sessions) Deposits are forfeited on the following occasions;

  • You cancel or attempt to reschedule with less than 48 hours until your appointment

  • You do not show up for your appointment time

  • We need more than three rounds of communication for edits on a design draft. I am absolutely open to revising or editing a design sketch I have drawn for you. It's important that you love your design! To encourage clients to effectively communicate and provide resources that represent what they are looking for, a deposit can become a "drawing fee" and a new deposit will be needed to keep moving forward with new designs options.

How should I prepare for my Tattoo?

  • Moisturize the days/weeks following up to your tattoo. Soft, healthy skin will make for better healed results!

  • Stay hydrated and drink water. Again, this will reflect in your skin!

  • Eat before your appointment (Most clients who pass out is due to blood sugar dropping!)

  • Consider how what you're wearing may affect my ability to access your tattoo/placement. If you are unsure about a clothing item, especially for privacy reasons, contact me before your appointment and ask my opinion!

  • Make sure you are not sunburnt when you arrive for a tattoo, and definitely plan enough time after your appointment to heal before any excessive sun exposure or vacation activities.

Tattoo After Care

After Care will be thoroughly gone over with the client after their tattoo or session has been completed. In addition, an after care instruction card will be provided to take home and review. In the instance you need an online reference for after care, you can visit the after care page on NeckBoneInk's website.
